"I've been to the Philippines twice and will venture to say that this book covers all bases. This book is a first hand guide from first hand experience. It is a must read for anyone planning on living or even just visiting the Philippines, from the 1st timer to the long term veteran. It doesn't get any better then this....Ben Bazy"

One Trip to the Philippines and you will be Hooked for Life, I Guarantee It!

Philippines Cost of Living Compassion Table

I have been spending time over at the Philippine Dreams online forums. This is a place where both expats and those like me planning or even those just dreaming about living in the Philippines can meet online and share information and experiences.

Membership to these exclusive information forums is one of the bonuses you get when you purchase the Philippine Dreams book.

Recently I suggested to the forum that a cost comparison table of many of the main staples and services would be very useful. Perry (forum moderator and writer of Philippine Dreams) and Ron (another expat) thought it a good idea and have drafted a cost comparison table.

They are now inviting others living in the US, Australia and UK to contribute by entering the average cost for each item in their respective countries.

I am really looking forward to this being completed and may publish all or part of the table here. This depends on if Perry decides the information will be for members only or available for the public.

I am also a member of some other Philippine related discussion forums. The thing I like about Philippine Dreams is that it is more focused and does not seem to contain malicious individuals and heaps of irrelevant discussion as many of the other do. You do not get flamed for asking what someone else might think is a silly question. It is friendly and helpful resource.

If you want to join the Philippine Dreams forum simply purchase the excellent book promoted above.
