Living in Cebu

In early 2006 I will be moving to Cebu, Philippines with the entire family.

Philippine
Dreams
Who Else Wants to Escape to a Tropical Paradise?

New book just published that has everything you want to know about the Philippines and more. Learn How to:

Get "Out of the Rat Race" and Live Like a King for under a Thousand Dollars a Month in Paradise.

Listen to what one happy client had to say ...

"I've been to the Philippines twice and will venture to say that this book covers all bases. This book is a first hand guide from first hand experience. It is a must read for anyone planning on living or even just visiting the Philippines, from the 1st timer to the long term veteran. It doesn't get any better then this....Ben Bazy"

One Trip to the Philippines and you will be Hooked for Life, I Guarantee It!

Filipino Passports / Permanent Residance

Finally got the Filipino passports for the family. Expected problems despite carefully checking and double checking the requirements. To my amazements the passports turned up a week or so after sending in the applications. Now the only person with any Visa concerns will be me. The rest of the family can stay indefinitely. I need to decide if I will get a permanent residence visa before I go there. I now have about six months which is plenty of time.

I also had a friend over the other night and was discussing the move. He asked me about the dog and I told him that it was an unresolved problem. He then volunteered to take him if he does not have work commitments that take him interstate for days at a time as he currently has. He has always liked the dog. I never thought he would be interested in looking after the dog as he does not have a huge back yard. When I mentioned the space he assured but that the dog would get two walks a day.

Now my concern is the car which I have decided to sell. This month the insurance renewal came in and they have increased it by $50 per month after the wife’s accident. This with the hefty registration make it unattractive to hold on to. Just hope I get enough to pay the lease out and get something in my pocket.
