Four Months to go...

Wow December is upon us. It’s now around 4 month to my planned departure. There is still so much to do with the house which still resembles a war zone.

I now have new decking at the back of the house. 20 feet long and 14 feet wide. Pity we are not going to be around to enjoy it for too long. We were out a week or so ago and saw some great outdoor furniture including a table that would seat ten. We wanted to get this so much but the fact that we will just have to store it put us off. Given that we have four months to enjoy it there is still a possibility of getting it. Common sense says no but we both want it.

Some time ago I wrote about my new concreting which was a drama. Well the new timber for the decking was left on the concrete and leached tannin onto it. So my concrete now has bad stains and product I got to remove it is leaving stains of its own. Wish someone would have warned me including the builder.

A few weeks ago I purchase special cabin sized cases for everyone. When I lined them up the house it really brought home the fact that we are going. Time to get some of those list I have talked about finished.
