Living in Cebu

In early 2006 I will be moving to Cebu, Philippines with the entire family.

Who Else Wants to Escape to a Tropical Paradise?

New book just published that has everything you want to know about the Philippines and more. Learn How to:

Get "Out of the Rat Race" and Live Like a King for under a Thousand Dollars a Month in Paradise.

Listen to what one happy client had to say ...

"I've been to the Philippines twice and will venture to say that this book covers all bases. This book is a first hand guide from first hand experience. It is a must read for anyone planning on living or even just visiting the Philippines, from the 1st timer to the long term veteran. It doesn't get any better then this....Ben Bazy"

One Trip to the Philippines and you will be Hooked for Life, I Guarantee It!

Best places to live in Cebu

While surfing the net I recently found this advice on where to live in Cebu by a Cebuana now living in the US.

"The nicest and safest subdivisions are Paradise Village where the old Cebu gentry lives(here they even celebrate Halloween and the children play dress up and go trick or treating), North Town where lots of new money, children of old money and foreigners live(lots of frank Lloyd
Wright-esque designs and even a Victorian style house complete with large cameo portraits of the family inside), St. Nino Village is upper middle class and very nice and safe but has some water drainage problem depending on where you live, Maria Luisa is a very nice place
to live in but only in some phases others have definite security problems and IMO aren't that nice at all, Silver Hills is also a decent subdivision, Beverly Hills is also quiet nice and has awesome views of the city. All the subdivisions I listed above are very safe, clean, and have guards and sidewalks ect. There should be no problems with stray dogs with rabies, stand bys living around the corner or otherwise bad elements of society in the village. Most are
fairly close to the city, near the posh restaurants, nice nightclubs, fancy hotels and shopping malls.

If you have any children consider International School, CDCC, St Benedict, Cebu City Science High for the teens, Playhouse for schools. I've heard very nice things about all of them."
